'Don't Act Like Delhi Police': Abhijeet Dipke Demands Removal of Security Officer at His Home

CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR — Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convenor Abhijeet Dipke engaged in a heated confrontation with a Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) stationed as part of his security detail at his home in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, demanding the officer's immediate reassignment.

Dipke alleged that the officer was being unnecessarily rude to visitors and attempting to monitor or restrict people who arrived at his residence in the Waluj MIDC area of the central Maharashtra city.

The 30-year-old political activist was assigned personal security personnel following security threats and high visitor footfall at his residence.

Viral Video Captures Heated Exchange

The incident came to light after two videos circulated widely on social media platforms. In the video clips, Dipke can be seen directly confronting the plainclothes officer and subsequently placing a call to senior police leadership.

During the exchange, Dipke reprimanded the sub-inspector, whom he identified as Suresh, questioning his authority to turn away guests.

"What is the problem in allowing people to come into my home when I am asking them to come in? Why are you behaving like the Delhi police?" Dipke was heard saying in the video recording. "You will not tell me whom I should meet and whom I should not meet. You please go out, I don't want you in my house."

In a second video, Dipke placed a telephone call to a senior police official to formally lodge a complaint regarding the incident.

"A PSI named Suresh has come here, and he is very rude to people coming to meet me. He is telling people to go out. Is this being done deliberately? I don't want him; remove him from here," Dipke stated during the call.

Allegations of Covert Surveillance

Beyond the altercation with the security officer, Dipke made further allegations regarding covert surveillance outside his premises.

He claimed that plainclothes officers from the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were roaming the neighborhood around his residence. According to Dipke, a local reporter spotted the personnel and noticed an open WhatsApp group named "Hit Spray" on one of the officers' mobile devices, which was allegedly being used to transmit real-time updates regarding activities at his residence.

Local police officials, including Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Atulkar, whose jurisdiction oversees the Waluj MIDC area, were not immediately available for official comment regarding the claims or the videos.
