KOLKATA — Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has named a star-studded 26-man Brazil squad for the Seleção’s landmark international friendly against India, scheduled for October 3 at Kolkata’s iconic Salt Lake Stadium.

The squad is headlined by marquee European talents including Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, Barcelona winger Raphinha, and Paris Saint-Germain veteran defender Marquinhos. Rising stars Endrick, Estevão, and Chelsea’s João Pedro also bolster a formidable attacking unit as Brazil kicks off a fresh international cycle following the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match marks the first-ever meeting between five-time World Cup winners Brazil and the Indian national team, representing one of the highest-ranked opponents to ever set foot on Indian soil. The match in Kolkata forms the final leg of Brazil’s tour, coming shortly after two scheduled friendlies against Australia in Townsville and Brisbane.

Notably, Ancelotti’s squad signals a transition into a new era.
