NEW DELHI — Social media influencer Faizan Ansari has submitted a written complaint to the Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), seeking the immediate arrest of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke over assault allegations.

Ansari claimed that associates linked to Dipke physically attacked him during separate incidents in Pune and Aurangabad in Maharashtra. According to the complainant, two police cases have already been registered in connection with the alleged physical violence.

Speaking to the press after lodging his complaint, Ansari stated that he possesses evidence proving the involvement of Dipke’s associates. He urged the Delhi Police to take swift legal action against the CJP founder.

In his statement, Ansari also voiced support for the recent police action detaining activist Sonam Wangchuk in the national capital, alleging that the step prevented the law and order situation in Delhi from deteriorating. He further accused Dipke of orchestrating public activities and political demonstrations for personal gain.

The complaint arrives amid mounting scrutiny over the financial background of Dipke's family. Surat-based RTI activist Amit Tiwari recently requested an official investigation into the finances of Bhagwanrao Dipke, the father of the CJP founder. Tiwari questioned how a public servant’s salary as a Junior Engineer could cover the expense of his son’s higher education at Boston University in the United States.

Tiwari has also petitioned the Election Commission of India and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) regarding the legal status of the CJP, as well as tax liabilities surrounding a ₹1 crore fund pledged by Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal.

Concurrently, Dipke has threatened to launch fresh sit-in demonstrations against the Union Government if key demands are left unfulfilled. The CJP founder questioned the delay in disbursing the announced ₹1 crore compensation to the families of NEET-UG aspirants who died by suicide. The group had previously called off a 37-day demonstration at Jantar Mantar on July 25 after receiving official assurances from the Ministry of Education.
