Addressing the issue publicly, the Premam star clarified that her recent emotional social media posts—which had ignited widespread breakup speculation among fans—were far from impulsive outbursts. Instead, she explained, they were the culmination of a long, painful journey toward healing.
"There is two years of pain, physical, emotional destruction behind that one post," Parameswaran shared in a recent conversation with a newswire. She noted that she deliberately waited until she felt emotionally ready and sufficiently healed before speaking out, hoping her story would help others recognize toxic relationship dynamics.

Describing the severe personal toll of the relationship, the actor revealed that she began to lose her sense of identity and well-being over time. Shortly after, he would adopt the persona of 'Ambi,' offering tearful apologies and promises to change, only for the cycle to repeat itself.
"I started to shrink instead of growing," she admitted, reflecting on how exhausting the pattern became.
