HYDERABAD: Marvel fans are gearing up to experience Avengers: Endgame back on the big screen, but the highly anticipated re-release—titled Avengers: Endgame: Encore—has run into a major roadblock. Just days before its theatrical rollout, clips from the re-edited version have leaked online, carrying critical hints and details tied directly to the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.

Following the unauthorized spread of the footage on social media, Marvel Studios has been working aggressively to scrub the clips from online platforms. Alongside the studio's efforts, directors Joe and Anthony Russo have issued a passionate, direct plea to the community, begging audiences to keep the new surprises under wraps for those planning to watch it in theaters.

Taking to social media, the Russo Brothers reflected on the emotional landscape of the film's historic 2019 release while addressing the current leak situation.

“One last request. There are some new surprises in Avengers: Endgame: Encore. Please don't spoil them for everyone else. Give them the same opportunity to discover those surprises that you had,” the filmmakers wrote. Highlighting a new generation of viewers who only experienced the movie at home, they added, “There's a generation that only ever saw this movie in their living room. And we want to hear what it sounds like when they finally get to see it in a theater.”

What Do the Leaked Scenes Reveal?

According to circulating reports, Avengers: Endgame: Encore features roughly four minutes of brand-new material designed to bridge the gap between the Infinity Saga and the expanding multiverse narrative.

The additional sequences reportedly feature prominent characters including Doctor Doom, Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter, Loki, and the Time Variance Authority (TVA).

  • Bruce Banner and Doctor Doom: One leaked sequence reportedly shows Bruce Banner living in isolated underground quarters working on a gamma-ray suppressor, only to be interrupted by an unknown visitor—believed to be Doctor Doom—who tells him, “I've come to collect you”.

  • The Multiverse Collapsing: A massive scene set at the TVA features Mobius and Ouroboros uncovering a catastrophic event where thousands of universes (reportedly numbering around 3,000) collide and face destruction. Glimpses of legacy realities, including Eric Bana’s Hulk and the 2015 Fantastic Four universe, are reportedly integrated into the sequence.

  • Surprise Extensions: Other segments reportedly expand on Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter's timeline post-dance, and reframe the iconic credits-hammering sound as Doctor Doom forging his mask.
