HYDERABAD — The anticipation surrounding Kannada superstar Yash’s next cinematic venture, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, reached a fever pitch today as the film's production team officially announced the exact release time for its highly awaited trailer.
Co-producers KVN Productions broke the news across social media, confirming that the initial multi-language teaser trailer will drop tonight at 7:01 PM IST. To mark the announcement, the studio unveiled an action-packed poster showcasing Yash in an intense avatar, instantly triggering a massive wave of fan engagement across digital platforms.
Multi-Language Premiere & Stellar Ensemble
The upcoming preview will launch simultaneously in five languages: Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Helmed by acclaimed director Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is billed as an action-heavy drama written and shot natively in both Kannada and English. The film boasts a high-profile ensemble cast featuring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth alongside Yash in leading roles. The project is jointly bankrolled by Venkat K. Narayana’s KVN Productions and Yash’s own banner, Monster Mind Creations.
Yash’s Comeback and Expanding Footprint
Toxic marks Yash's return to the big screen after a four-year hiatus following the colossal box-office run of K.G.F: Chapter 2 in 2022.
Beyond taking on lead acting and co-producing duties, Yash is making significant moves on the business front by entering theatrical distribution in Karnataka. By managing distribution locally, the star aims to secure an unprecedented screen footprint across his home state, with Bengaluru expected to witness record-setting show counts on opening day.
Following several production scheduling adjustments, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is officially scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26.
